Playing with clay

Its been a long time since I felt compelled to roll out a ball of clay and make something. Felt like making an owl... Not the greatest first attempt..think I'll try it again...you know the old saying if at first.....

Queen of Hearts Rose Pots

Painted two pots white with roses for centerpieces and added red roses to them. Im going to make two more painted black with white roses dipped in red paint. I'm so glad I started prepping for this party early. I'm saving money and my sanity!

While most women are out being active and doing little outdoor activities I rather sit inside in the AC with my little one making something.....why? Because I was literally in the pathway of the sun for 20 mins and Im burnt! My glitter, glue and decorative paper don't cause me pain! I garden and I like it but I don't do it in the middle of the day...I wait until sunset. I dont tan either so I'll be peeling in a couple days and return back to my nice pale self.

Pretty little flower book folds up and displays places for pictures on each side. Mathcing theme paper on the inside. Could be used for any style of pictures.

Fun mini scrapbook

Fun little 10 page scrapbook for random pictures, also makes a cute little brag book. Since its a mini book that fits 4x6 pictures I am able to make the whole book from left over paper. Thank goodness I save it all..

Crafter stuck at a desk 9-5 UGH!

I sit here at my desk starring at several excel spreadsheets and thinking about the several crafts I've started that sit lonely at my craft table waiting to be finished. It's such a tease, I just start to get into a craft and then it's the hustle bustle of getting dinner ready, bathing my daughter and getting her off to bed. Then it's our shows...I have actually set a craft table up in my living room so I can still "hang out" while tending to my crafts. Then I come into work and sit here thinking about what I'm going to do to my book, how a certain page should look....or what kind of trim will I put on the lamp shade I just decoupaged to give just the right look or the box I'm decorating will the 10 yr old little girl it's for really like it? Oh why must a work a "normal" job? I want to go home and get messy with glue and decoupage!

I tend to keep my camera in my purse so if I see something that looks like it would make a great shot I'm ready! Here is where it paid off....

My friends got us all up early in the morning to witness them getting married...we did and man was it beautiful! :)
