Car Trashcan

So I have been unable to find a cute little trash can for my car. I was using a solo cup which did the job I needed it to but it was bright red and just yelled "Look at the trash!" While I was cooking the other night I thought hey I can just cover this can with scrapbook paper and there is my new trash can. It's cuter then a cup by far and it cost me nothing. I wrapped it with plastic wrap and held it in place with a rubber band, this way whatever sticky mess my daughter might hand me won't stick to the can...when I empty it I can just toss the plastic wrap.

Scrapbook Paper Blinds Panel Cover

When we moved into our house (we're currently renting) I was happy we already had blinds installed. However it was very blah looking. I hung up our curtains and then I was left with this beige panel. I knew there had to be a way to cover up the panel that I would be able to take down when we moved. Then I realized I could put scrapbook paper in the panel. I found some paper that went along with my room and measured the height, cut the paper and slid it right in. One panel took 2 sheets of paper.

American Girl bathing suit

I had found some free patterns on Pinterest for American Girl patterns.http://www.libertyjanepatterns.com/2011/07/free-swimsuit-pattern-for-dolls.html  My daughter was super excited to have me make her some new clothes. She really wanted a bathing suit. She wanted a two piece so I altered the pattern a little bit.

More Melted Crayon Art

After making my flower picture out of melted crayon, I decided to make my friend one. I might just be hooked on melted crayons hahaha!

Bandana Table Runner

I saw this idea on Pinterest. Needed something to do with all my bandana's. It was super easy and made the whole table look different.

DIY framed dry erase boards

Saw a DIY website that showed this project.  I had some great paper in mind when I saw this.  I made a large one for my kitchen and then the smaller ones for craft booth for shows.

Melted crayon art

Saw something similar on pinterest.  Tweaked it a bit to make it look less like everybody else's.  I also wrapped the crayon all the way around the canvas.
