Took a piece of plywood we had left over from boarding up the windows during hurricane season. I had my husband help me cut it to size and then added the hanging equipment first and wrapped the wire. Then I took the pieces left over from a broken mirror we had and put those in the position I wanted and then did my mosiac colored glass pieces around it. I used a light gray grout for it. By the time I was finished it weighed a ton but it was the unique piece I wanted it to be for her birthday. The colors matched with everything and it was functional as well as funky!
