Every girl must have a purse for every outfit!
Ellie's "Vintage" Curtains
So I wanted to go with the old barbie and poodle theme for Ellie's room. I made some barbie pics which I will post. I needed curtains.....I wanted something unique just not pink curtains. I got 4 yrds of 3 different shades of pink and bought some poodle patches and eye cover patches that say princess on them. I used a old looking trim to separate the bottom piece from the others. I cut a curvy edge on the bottom fabric. Just folded the top for the rod to go into. Very easy curtains no pattern needed.

Head piece and Arch
Ceremony Fun!

I am renewing my vows this weekend on our annv. We are just having a very small ceremony with immediate family on the beach. We're not doing anything fancy but I do want the traditional touches of a wedding. Almost everything I got came from the $ Store, proving there is no reason to go overboard. I made the bubbles out of purple toole that I had left over from our wedding and used little goodie bags that had rings on them. For the favors I used kisses to fill them which you can get just about any color wrapper these days to match your theme. I took white and purple toole and wrapped them and also used the little bags but Incorporated a green ribbon. The center pieces are just bought sand and then a bag of shells and scented tea light in the middle. All of this favors and bubbles and the centerpieces for 20 people cost me under $20.

Scrapbook Frames
A friend had a baby and so I made her frame with his info on it, weight, length, time name etc.

Twin girls so they are pretty identical except for small changes.
A gift for Ellie's preschool teacher when she was moving away.
One of Julian's fathers day gifts. We went to beach to watch him surf and Ellie was cheering him on.
For gifts I have been making framed scrapbook pages. To celebrate something or give special attention to something. People love getting scrapbooks but they take awhile to create (I've made plenty) So this is a simple way to give them a gift that's as personal or memorable as a scrapbook but with much less work.
Tattoo purse
I wanted something funky that matched everything. I pulled out my fabric paint and got some stencils and went to work. Just customized it with the straps I wanted. Some are drawn free hand, they were actual tattoo's that I had wanted but ended up not getting due to the size they needed to be or didn't know where to put them. I figure this way I can still "wear" them when I feel like it. I made this purse over a yr ago and I seem to find "tattoo style" purses everywhere. I did not come up with the idea nor did I start a fashion I'm just amused that I still manage to somewhat be in style LOL!
Ellie's hot pink lamp
Just bought a cheap little lamp for a night light for Ellie's room and since her room is no longer Hot pink I'm trying to accent her room in pink and black.

Got pieces of fabric from my collection and got fabric glue that was safe for heat. I cut out all the random sized pieces of fabrics and glued with a decopage style onto the lamp shade and then hot glued a decorative trim.
Let it dry for several hours, the fabric will harden and won't look "wet" then put the lamp together. Now Ellie has a nice desk lamp as well as a pretty night light that glows pink through her room.

My Craft Room
This is where it all happens. When I've had a bad day at work or life is just stressing me out I find comfort in sitting in my craft room and letting my imagination take over. I've decorated it with things that inspire me, from crafts and pictures made by 5 yr old daughter to pictures I've made and pictures of my friends. It's not the biggest room and it's not the best craft room but it's mine.
